The cozy feel of children’s autumn and winter garments is largely hidden in the lining ✨. Many brands spend lots of effort selecting outer fabrics and filling during development, yet often overlook this inner layer that touches babies' skin directly — it's such a lovely detail that makes infant apparel stand out.
We are well-versed in the processing of all common lining fabrics and can deliver refined, consistent quality even for standard lining options. Let’s explore the features and suitable applications of these popular lining fabrics:
✅ Washed cotton crinkle fabric: Made of natural cotton, breathable and gentle on skin. Perfect for sleeping bags and close-fitting quilted wear. It delivers a wonderfully soft handfeel, making it a fantastic pick for premium baby lines with flexible budgets.
✅ Faux fur: Incredibly soft plush texture with lovely visual appeal, mostly applied for hood lining. It offers great warmth retention. Anti-shedding tests will be carried out during production to keep babies safe.
✅ Sherpa fleece: Fluffy and thick with excellent heat retention, it is a fan-favorite lining option for waistcoats. Fabric weight can be customised to prevent overheating.
✅ Matte polyester lining (cotton-like Pongee): Smooth surface makes it easy for kids to put on and take off quilted jackets, while holding filling securely. It is a cost-effective option. We can adjust the fabric sheen to achieve a soft, subtle matte finish.
✅ Lightweight pongee lining: Thin and plain polyester fabric for jacket bodies. It supports filling to maintain a neat silhouette, and reduces rustling noise from fabric friction.
No fabric is inherently good or bad; the right match for your design matters most. Beyond these standard options, we have plenty more custom solutions available. Whatever style of lining you imagine, we can make it safe, comfortable and fully aligned with your design vision. We can help you find the ideal lining solution based on your brand positioning, budget and baby safety requirements. Physical fabric swatches are available so you can touch and compare in person to preview the final look and feel.
